To ensure that this programme is relevant to those who are involved in the delivery of health services in rural areas and also to ensure that SHSS reaches out to other parts of the country, it is proposed to offer this programme outside TISS in partnership with other organizations that have strong community based health care programmes and also having training capacity and training infrastructure. These are mainly large health NGOs spread over the country that have already showed interest to run these programmes. The faculty of SHSS will provide additional resources and may teach some topics where they do not have persons to teach. The SHSS will monitor the delivery of the programme, especially the student assessment to ensure that those who full-fill TISS standards only will finally get their PGDHA.
